We are pleased to share another important piece of news – the International Business Women Network project “Digital and Sustainable Supply Competences for Women Entrepreneurs” has been awarded €44,592 in funding under the Erasmus+ programme. The project will be implemented from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027.
During the twelve-month project, as many as 30 IBWN members will participate in group mobility activities for adult learners in Iceland, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Italy, and France. The project will provide an opportunity to learn from the experience of different European countries and apply the acquired knowledge in their own businesses and within the activities of the IBWN community.
During the mobility activities, participants will deepen their knowledge of responsible supplier selection, supply chain risk assessment, circular economy solutions, process optimisation, the application of digital tools for supply and order management, and the development of international business partnerships. Practical assignments, the analysis of real business situations, and the comparison of experiences from different countries will help participants prepare concrete action plans for their own activities.
Special attention within the project will be given to the inclusion of women from different regions of Lithuania and participants with fewer opportunities. Upon returning from the mobility activities, IBWN members will share the knowledge they have gained during the organisation’s meetings, prepare practical recommendations, and transfer their experience to other members of the community. In this way, the project results will reach significantly more women than the direct participants in the mobility activities.
This project is another important step in strengthening the sustainability, digital competencies, competitiveness, and internationalisation of women’s businesses and IBWN. We believe that international experience, new knowledge, and cooperation will help our members build more responsible, more efficient, and future-ready businesses.

The project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme. The project is administered by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation.
