The IBWN Women’s Organization business trip in Israel concludes with a women’s forum
The International Business Women Network (IBWN), established a year ago, has a large delegation visiting Israel on February 25-29. The five-day trip is dedicated to the first Lithuania-Israel Business Women Forum, business meetings and country and cultural educational tours.
Laura Aldone, president of the IBWN, emphasizes the young organization’s dynamic growth and the significant contribution of international missions to its development.
“We were an active organization already in the first year of its founding, with monthly events – local and international ones. We continue to pursue our goals, seeking both business and personal partnerships without borders. We develop our businesses, grow as personalities, and share experiences. The first-time organized Lithuanian-Israeli Business Women Forum rounded up our visit. It is a big step in bringing different cultures together, inspiring ideas for the future. It also strengthens our organization” said the president of IBWN.
The program of the visit to Israel is very intensive. A meeting with the Lithuanian Ambassador to Israel, Lina Antanavičienė, was awaiting just upon arrival. A visit to the Peres Peace Center. The focus was on the Business Women Forum, which was attended by 24 members of the Lithuanian delegation and 60 Israeli participants. The topic of the forum was – success stories. Both Israeli and Lithuanian women entrepreneurs presented their success stories to the wide audience.
Members of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania Rimantė Šalaševičiūtė, Aušrinė Norkienė, Vida Ačienė, Rūta Miliūtė participated in the business mission with the IBWN group.
Leisure time was dedicated to the history, culture of Israel.
