Funding Awarded for the Project “Digital and Sustainable Supply Chain Competencies for Women in Business”
We are delighted to share another important milestone – the International Business Women Network (IBWN) has been awarded EUR 44,592 in funding under the Erasmus+ Programme for the project “Digital and Sustainable Supply Chain Competencies for Women in Business.” The project will be implemented from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027.
Over the course of twelve months, 30 IBWN members will participate in group mobility activities for adult learners in Iceland, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Italy, and France. The project will provide participants with the opportunity to learn from best practices across Europe and apply the knowledge gained within their own businesses and throughout the IBWN community.
During the mobilities, participants will strengthen their knowledge of responsible supplier selection, supply chain risk assessment, circular economy solutions, process optimisation, the use of digital tools for supply chain and order management, and the development of international business partnerships. Through practical assignments, real-life business case studies, and the exchange of European best practices, participants will develop concrete action plans tailored to their own organisations.
A special focus of the project will be on the inclusion of women from different regions of Lithuania and participants with fewer opportunities. Upon returning from the mobility activities, IBWN members will share their knowledge during organisation meetings, prepare practical recommendations, and transfer their experience to other members of the community. As a result, the project’s impact will extend far beyond the direct participants.
This project represents another significant step in strengthening the sustainability, digital competencies, competitiveness, and international outlook of women-led businesses within IBWN. We believe that international experience, new knowledge, and cross-border collaboration will empower our members to build more responsible, efficient, and future-ready businesses.
