International Training in Prague, Czech Republic, as Part of the Project “Women in the Age of Innovation”
From 21–24 April, three members of the International Business Women Network (IBWN) – Irina Žilinskienė, Rasa Arimavičienė, and Dangeruta Valentė-Durrett – participated in an international Erasmus+ training course in Prague, Czech Republic. The training, “Communicate with Clarity, Build Agreement, Achieve Results – Mindful & Stress Resilient Communication,” was delivered by Eva Usai Blumental, trainer at Blumental Coaching & Mentoring.
During the training, participants enhanced their skills in communicating clearly and constructively, understanding the needs of others, building trust, reaching agreements, and managing challenging professional situations. Particular attention was given to mindful communication, active listening, emotional awareness, stress resilience, and maintaining productive dialogue even when opinions or interests differ.
These competences are particularly valuable for women entrepreneurs and business leaders who work daily with clients, employees, partners, and international teams. Effective communication not only helps present business ideas more convincingly but also strengthens leadership, supports successful negotiations, facilitates conflict resolution, and contributes to building long-term professional relationships.
The training was organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA122-ADU project “Women in the Age of Innovation: Creativity, Artificial Intelligence and International Development” (Project No. 2025-1-LT01-KA122-ADU-000342007). The project aims to strengthen women’s entrepreneurial and transferable skills, provide practical competences for professional growth, support innovation, encourage international cooperation, and enhance the competitiveness of women-led businesses.
We are pleased that international Erasmus+ training activities provide IBWN members with opportunities not only to acquire new knowledge but also to build self-confidence, strengthen professional resilience, and apply their newly acquired competences within their businesses and throughout the wider IBWN community.
The project is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme, which supports adult education, professional skills development, and international cooperation across Europe.
