International Training in Malta under the “Women in the Age of Innovation” Project
International Training in Malta under the “Women in the Age of Innovation” Project
From 2–5 March 2026, members of the International Business Women Network (IBWN) had the opportunity to participate in the “Women in the Age of Innovation” training programme held in Malta. The programme was organised in cooperation with Women Elevation Malta (W.E.M.) and Skills Zone Malta, represented by Maryrose Francica.
The programme focused on leadership, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation, exploring how women entrepreneurs can strategically leverage innovation and creative thinking to expand their businesses and increase their impact internationally. In today’s rapidly changing economy, innovation is not just an opportunity—it is an essential leadership competency.
Beyond the training sessions and meetings, the experience reinforced another equally important aspect: strengthening connections among women entrepreneurs across Europe. Through dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaboration, participants continued to build a strong international network that supports women in business and leadership.
The International Business Women Network (IBWN) members participated in these international training activities as part of the Erasmus+ KA122-ADU project “Women in the Age of Innovation: Creativity, Artificial Intelligence and International Growth” (Project No. 2025-1-LT01-KA122-ADU-000342007).
The project is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Programme, which promotes adult education, international cooperation, and the development of professional competencies across Europe. Erasmus+ projects like this create tangible added value by fostering innovative, responsible, and internationally oriented women’s entrepreneurship while strengthening the competitiveness of communities across Europe.
We are sincerely grateful to our partners in Malta for their warm hospitality and for creating a meaningful environment for learning, collaboration, and the development of future partnerships.
